Clara Belle Tidwell was born March 7, 1914, the tenth of eleven children born to Jason and Ella White Tidwell in the Upchurch Community in Prescott, Arkansas. Both parents and all of the children preceded her in death. She lived on this earth for 97 years and 3 days.
God called her into eternity on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Clara Belle married Henry Simpson at an early age and no children were born to this union. Later in life, she married Urssery Tidwell and moved to Beirne, Arkansas and no children were born to this union. There she joined Shady Grove Baptist Church. In 1993, she moved to Gurdon, Arkansas and lived independently alone in her home. On her 97th birthday, her grand-niece, Buffie Nolen of Prescott, moved into her home to care for her.
Clara Belle loved life. She loved to hunt, fish and garden. She was a person who was very innovative (she could find a unique way to fix anything).
