Earvin Gulley

Earvin Gulley was born into time on May 23, 1948 in Nevada County, Arkansas to Willie Word and Guartha Lee Holliman Gulley. He accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Mt. Morriah United Methodist Church in Chidester, Arkansas. Earvin was a 1967 graduate of McRae High School in Prescott, Arkansas. He possessed a friendly spirit and was always the life of the party. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. On June 9, 1968, he married Bertha Mae Laster and to this union four children were born. On Tuesday, May 10, 2011 in his 62ndt season of life, Earvin was born into eternity at Medical Park Hospital in Hope, Arkansas with his family by his side. Earvin will be truly missed by his children, Willie Laster of Great Mills, MD, Audrea (Germar) Mixon of Prescott, AR, Terry (Kicel) Gulley of Prescott, AR, Michael Gulley of Pine Bluff, AR, and Valeta (Reginal) Reed of Prescott, AR; one sister, Ella Mae Gulley of Prescott, AR; two brothers, Willie (Cassandra) Gulley of Camden, AR, and Edward Gulley of Bluff City, AR; one uncle, Earl Holliman of Blytheville, AR; eight grandchildren, Britney, O'Shay, Zhara, Shanika, Stormie, Takiera, Terry, Jr., Marketric and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mr. Gulley will lie in repose at the Prescott Chapel, 113 E. Elm Street in Prescott, Arkansas on Friday, May 13th from 12:00 – 7:00 p.m. The family with receive friends and share with them the Images of Life DVD from 6-7 p.m. The last farewell and tributes to his life will be shared on Saturday, May 14th at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Morriah United Methodist Church in Chidester, Arkansas where Rev. James Fort is the pastor and will deliver the message. The committal service and final resting place will be in Mt. Morriah Cemetery.
