Many lives have been made brighter and more enriched because of Eula
Fitzpatrick. Her legacy of family togetherness, peace and love will live on in the hearts of her loved ones and friends. We give thanks to God, individually and collectively for sending her into our lives.
Eula Mae Fitzpatrick was born in to time on September 8, 1929 in Marshall, Texas to Willie Fitzpatrick and Bessie Patterson.
She gave her life to Christ and an early age and has been a member of the Jehovah’s Witness since 1975.
Eula was a graduate of the Texas ISD, she later graduated from the Louisiana School of the Blind. She possessed a friendly spirit and never met a stranger. She made friends across race, gender, and inspired everyone who crossed her path.
Eula had many interest and talents, but most of all she loved her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Although she had no children of her own, she was active in every aspect of their lives; but more important than that, she loved the Lord and went home to be with Him on June 3, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Willie and Bessie Fitzpatrick; special sister, Eunice Fitzpatrick, Lovie Lee, Lula V., Willie C.; one brother, James Fitzpatrick, seven nieces, and three nephews.
She leaves a legacy of love and her memories will be cherished by her nieces and nephews that she raised as her own children: nieces, Nora Fitzpatrick, Kim Fitzpatrick, Carolyn Fitzpatrick, Lesia Fitzpatrick, Linda Fitzpatrick, Sonya Fitzpatrick, Sherry Fitzpatrick, JoAnn Fitzpatrick, Delores Fitzpatrick, Ella Fitzpatrick; nephews, Johnny Fitzpatrick, Terry Fitzpatrick, Willie Fitzpatrick, Williams Fitzpatrick, Allen Bryant, Trey Fitzpatrick; one brother, John Henry (Barbara) Fitzpatrick, and a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, two close friends, Jessie Mae Laffitte, Lottie Edwards and numerous other friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Praise Temple Full Gospel in Shreveport, Louisiana where Bishop Larry L. Brandon is the pastor. Rev. Kenneth Thompson will be the eulogist.
The commital service and final resting place will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Ms. Jermieka Williams is the Funeral Directress in charge.
