Bobby James Dixon, the third of five children born to the parentage of Ed and Willie Blanche, entered into this life of August 23, 1951 in Okolona, AR. His earthly tabernacle was dissolved on August 20, 2012 in Houston, TX.
After leaving the Arkadelphia (Clark County) area as a teenager, he lived in various locales across these United States of America. However, the last fifteen years of his life were spent in Houston, TX.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Willie Ray Dixon. Mourning his demise, yet rejoicing in his purposeful life are: his only daughter, MarciaDixon of Milwaukee, WS; his three grand children, Marcell, Davion and Marchelle all of Milwaukee; his sisters, Fannie Mae (John) Scott, Eddie Mae Jackson, Shirley Dixon, and Florine Jones all of Arkadelphia; one brother, James (Nancy) Dixon, Little Rock; one aunt, Earlean Washington, Memphis, Teen, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Dixon will lie in repose at the funeral home on Friday, August 24th from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m.
A home going service will be held on Saturday, August 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd is the pastor and celebrant.
The committal service and final resting place will be in Piney Ridge Cemetery in the Dobyville Community.
