“For us this is the end of her story…but for our loved one, it was only the beginning of the real story. All of her life in the world had only been the cover and the title page. Now she is beginning Chapter One of the Great Story, which no one on earth has read, it goes on forever and every chapter is better than the one before.”
A wonderful, precious life came into being on January 6, 1976, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. To the parentage of Bobby & Charlotte Owens Neal was born this precious baby girl whose name was Tanisha Lynae Neal.
Tanisha grew up in Dalark and the Manchester community. She accepted Christ at a tender age and attended Mt. Olive A.M.E Church in Dalark. She attended Sparkman Elementary School and was a 1994 graduate of Sparkman High School. She attended and graduated from SAU-Tech in Camden in 1998.
Tanisha Lynae had a smile that would light up a room. In her life time, she touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a generous heart and a loving spirit. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend.
She later moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas where she was employed by Arvest Bank of Fayetteville as a Bank Teller.
In her 32nd season the final chapter ended. On Friday January 18, 2008, Tanisha surrendered her soul to Christ. She now rests in the arms of the Lord. Those waiting to greet and welcome her to her eternal home are her sister, Tawanna Renae Neal and her grandparents, Mary Carr and Juanita Williams.
Tanisha leaves beautiful memories in the hearts of her parents: Bobby and Charlotte Neal of Arkadelphia, her brother, Roddrick Neal of Fayetteville, AR; aunts, Glennie Neal of Ysplanti, MI, Dorothy Mitchell of Sparkman, AR; her uncles, William Owens, Jr. and his wife Glenda, of Arkadelphia, AR, Johnny Neal of Dalark, AR; a caravan of great-uncles, great-aunts, cousins, and numerous friends.
