Marshall Clarence Nolen was born into time on December 25, 1957, in Whelen Springs, Arkansas to the union of James H. and Melinda Keys Nolen.
Marshall was fun loving and outgoing young man. Having accepted Christ at a tender age. He attended Richmond Hill AME Church and was a 1977 graduate of Arkadelphia High School.
On Wednesday, January 16, 2013, in his 55th season of life, Marshall passed from time into eternity at the Garland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Those awaiting his arrival are his parents and three brothers, Eddie Ray Nolen, Tommy Nolen, Joe Henry Roberson and an uncle Milton Keys.
Those left to cherish his memories are: two sons, Marshall Nolen, Jr., of Hot Springs, AR, and Michael Nolen of Hot Springs; five grandchildren; one sister, Emma Jean Young of Little Rock; five brothers, Arthur Muldrew, James Jr.(Hattie) Nolen, Terry Nolen and Darryl Nolen all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jimmy Nolen of Texarkana, Texas and Larry Nolen of Shreveport, Louisiana; and a caravan of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, numerous friends and a special friend whom he cherished as a brother, Frankie Walker of Hot Springs.
A memorial service will be Saturday, January 19th at 2:30 p.m. in the J. L. Williams Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home. Rev. James H. Giles, chaplain of Williams Funeral Home will render words of comfort.
