Mazelle Bradley

Mazelle Bradley, age 80 of Prescott passed away, Saturday, Ma 11, 2013 at Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott. She was born July 12, 1932 in Stephens, Arkansas to Godfrey and Carrie Moss Burnell. She attended Glenville School in Stephens, Arkansas. She married Sgt. John Bradley in 1947 and to this union one daughter was born. Mrs. Bradley was a home maker and a member of Mt. Vernon A.M.E. Church in Stephens, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband John Bradley; her brothers, Lois, Delma, L.C., Ervin, Lee Edward and Sewoul Burnell; her sisters, Eurdelle Nero and Olivia Smith. She is survived b her daughter; Maggie Evans of Haker Heights, Texas; her two sisters, Bertha Wilson and Genevia Gilkey both of Detroit, Michigan; three granddaughters, Personna A. Evans of Reno, NV, Sharon D. Evans of Las Vegas, NV, and Kenisha M. Evans of Killeen, TX; 6 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves her long time companion of 50 years, Mr. Roy C. Tidwell; Funeral services for Mrs. Bradley will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Mt. Vernon A.M.E. Church in Stephens with Rev. Allen Yarbrough officiating. Burial to follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
