Annie Bell Redic was born on January 3, 1939 in Malvern, Arkansas to the union of John Davis Redic and Alberta Trotter Redic. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at a young age. Annie Bell was a 1957 graduate of Malvern High School. She was witty, outgoing and was known as a trusted friend.
Shortly after graduating from high school she married Frank Berry, the man whom she would spend 47 years of her life with. Together the raised, loved and nurtured eight healthy children. The family settled in Beirne and she vowed to make her home a place of love, warmth and security. Frank worked hard at the Cabe Lumber Company while Annie Bell kept the home intact and in order.
Annie Bell was not only a mother to her children, but she was a mother to all. She had an abundance of love to share and raised her grandchildren Latasha, Kanonna, Courtney and great-granddaughter Angel in her home. She took her role as mother seriously. She had her own way of loving everyone, yet loving them all the same. Annie Bell didn’t play games and didn’t believe in telling lies. She not only “talked the talk”, she “walked the walk.”
One of her greatest joys was spending memorable moments with relatives and friends, both young and old. She
was known for throwing some of the best “get-togethers”. She was always the life of the party and loved to cook.
On Sunday, November 12, 2006, her beloved Frank passed into the Lord’s embrace. She remained a strong and independent woman until her health began to fail.
Annie Bell was preceded in transition by her parents, John Davis and Alberta Trotter Redic; her husband Frank Berry, one sister, Gladys Redic and two brothers, Alonzo Redic and LeAndrew Redic. On Thursday, July 25, 2013; in her 74th season of life she began her eternal celebration in a land that shall never grow old.
