Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She stretcheth out her hands to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Proverbs 31: Selected Verses
It is filed in the record book that on December 16, 1957, in Chidester, Arkansas, Willie and Juanita Moses Welch became the proud parents of a baby girl they named Ozella Marie.
Ozella accepted Christ at a tender age and was a 1976 graduate of Chidester High School.

Ozella was a faithful employee at Doctors Home Care in Camden, Arkansas for 14 years, until her demise. Her co-workers remember her as helpful, patient, and friendly.

In her 50th season, on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the Golden Years Manor in Lonoke, Arkansas the Lord’s voice harkened her to a call that no man can refuse.
Her father Willie was there to welcome her to her eternal home.
Those to bid farewell are her husband of 30 years, Clifton Goshen; her sons Brian & his wife Terraen and Clifton, Jr.; her most precious joys, grandchildren: Chardale, Tyler, Havannah, and A’Daylan; her beloved mother Jaunita Welch of Chidester, AR; her brother Jesse & his wife Kimistri Welch of Chidester, AR; her sisters Willie Jean Welch, Frankie Powell, Trecia & her husband John Monk all of Chidester, AR; and Trudy & her husband Germaine Gafford of Shreveport, LA; her aunt Ophila Payne and uncle Johnny Moses; two special daughters, Tashauna Scott and LaDonna Lasker, and a caravan of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a community of friends will forever miss her smile, laughter and love.
