Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? He who has clean hands and a pure heart. Psalm 24:3-4
On May 26, 2009, Joshua Blakely and Cleshawna Henderson welcomed the birth of a bouncing brown bubble of joy they named Jayden Malik Blakely.
Jayden was a happy baby who brought added joy to lives of those he touched. Smiling was what he did best. Whenever you saw him he would give you his great big smile and give lots of hugs and kisses. Jayden’s favorite color was blue and he loved Sonic the Hedge Hog and Spiderman.
At the tender age of four adults would marvel at how confidently he could navigate and use the iPad. He spent countless hours not just playing but also learning and perfecting his technological prowess. Jayden was a 2013 Pre-school graduate of the Southwest Education Co-Op HIPPY Program and was anxiously waiting to start Kindergarten in August.
On Friday, January 24, 2014, in his 4th season of life Jayden slept into the Lord’s embrace. He was welcomed home by his father Joshua Blakely who made his transition on March 11, 2012 and his great-grandfather Ozie Page who made his transition on January 1, 2014. Jayden will be missed by many. Even though his life was short he touched many people and the world will be a little less bright with him gone.
