On November 1, 1964, in Prescott, Arkansas James H. and Melinda Keys Nolen celebrated the birth of another son named Eddie Ray.
He attended Richmond Hill AME Church and attended Arkadelphia High School.
On Tuesday, September 23, 2008, in his 43rd season of life, Eddie Ray passed from time into eternity at the University of Arkansas Medical System in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Those awaiting his arrival are his parents and one brother, Tommy Nolen.
Those left to cherish his memories are: one sister, Emma Jean & her husband George Young of Prescott; eight brothers, Joe Henry Roberson of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Arthur Muldrew, James, Jr., & his wife Hattie Nolen, Terry Nolen and Darryl Nolen all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Marshall Nolen of Hot Springs, Jimmy Nolen of Texarkana, Texas and Larry Nolen of Shreveport, Louisiana; one uncle, Milton Keys of Milwaukee, WI; and a caravan of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and numerous friends.
Final tributes to the life of Mr. Eddie Ray Nolen will be shared on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. in the J. L. Williams Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home. Rev. A. S. Newburn, chaplain of Williams Funeral Home, will render words of comfort.
