Chasidi Tequoria Shalaundria Poole

Chasidi was a bouncy vivacious baby girl born in Gurdon, Arkansas on July 9, 1981 to Donald and Marilyn Poole. Chasidi was a very intelligent young lady who had a heart of gold and she really loved her family. She was a special child; a rare “rich gift” who never met a stranger, inspired and encouraged everyone who crossed her path. She loved God and trusted him with her whole heart. She fought a good fight and remained strong through her struggle. Chasidi kept a smile on her face and a smile in heart because she knew God had it all in control. She accepted Christ and worshiped the Lord at New Life Church in Arkadelphia, Cross Road Church of God In Christ in Chidester, Faith Christian Center in Arkadelphia and First Memorial Church of God In Christ in Gurdon. Chasidi graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 1999 and attended Henderson State University. Due to her health she was briefly employed at Degray Lake State Lodge. Chasidi made her transition to Glory on November 20, 2014, where she is resting in the arms of Jesus. She was preceded in transition by her great-grandmother, Josie Walker Mendenhall; her grandmothers, Mattie B. Powell and Eula Faye Poole; her uncles, Nathaniel Powell, Willie Morehead, Sr., Athon Powell, Rodell Powell, and Phillip Powell; her aunts, Catherine Poole Scott, Ellen Jewel Powell Lee and Francis Powell Shambley. She leaves to forever cherish her memory: her father, Donald Poole; her loving mother, Marilyn Poole; her twin brothers, Chadwick D. (Crystal) Poole of Plano, TX and Courtney J. Poole and his special friend, Joy of Ft. Worth, TX; her uncles, Joe Morehead of Los Angeles, CA, Edward (Alene) Morehead, Isaiah Powell, Jr., Johnnie (Patsy) Powell, Sr., all of Camden, AR; Jimmie (Norma) Powell, Sr., of Chidester, AR, Stanley (Phyllis) Powell, Sr., of Arkadelphia, AR, Calvin (Emma) Powell, Sr., of Stephens, AR, Billy (Geraldine) Poole, Terry Poole and Danny Poole all of Camden, AR; and Charles (Beulah) Poole of Austin, TX; her aunts, Velma Morehead Jones of Stephens, AR, Necie Powell Davis of Arkadelphia, AR, Mattie Powell Watson and Caroln Powell Williams both of Camden, AR. She also leaves her loving nieces whom she cared for as her children, Honestie Poole, Aerial Poole, Amirah Poole and Miracle Simmons, a host of cousins, other relatives and special friends, Bart Daniel and Jason Eddington; also her dog Ella whom she cared for like her child. Submitted by the Poole Family The family will receive friends Friday, November 28, 2014 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. A Celebration of Praise and Thanksgiving for her life will be shared on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd, Jr., is the pastor. Elder Calvin Powell, Sr., will serve as the celebrant and Elder Chester Mitchell, Sr., will officiate. Interment will be in Antioch Church Cemetery in Stephens Arkansas. Bearers of the casket will be Dr. Corey Harris, Corey Adams, Temothy Nelson, Terry Nelson, Jr., Jason Nelson and Ollie Ware, Jr.
