Final tributes to the life of Mr. Edward Ray Knox will be shared at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at J. L. Williams Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd, Jr., will officiate. The interment will be in Helms Cemetery.
Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Edward Ray Knox was born into this world on November 18, 1951, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He was the son of Fourier “Bubba“and Annie Arilla Turner Knox. He accepted Christ as his personal savior at a young age and united with Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Edward Ray grew up in Arkadelphia and attended Peake High School. He later enlisted in the Armed Forces having served in the United States Navy.
He possessed a charismatic spirit and a cunning, yet pleasant smile. He loved to joke around and spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fourier “Bubba” Knox (2010) and Annie Arilla Knox (1995); his sister, Shirley Knox (2014) and two brothers, Donald L. Knox and James C. Knox and his brother-in-law, Lee Miller. On Thursday, November 27, 2014 after a full life of 63 years Edward Ray went home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory: two children, Andre Knox and Kennetta Knox both of Grand Rapids, MI; his beloved sister, Flora Knox Miller of Dallas, TX; and an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
