A loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, Fredrick Harold Lewis of Camden, Arkansas passed away peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 26, 2014 at the age of 60 with his immediate family present after battling lung cancer. He was born December 2, 1953 to Harry Lewis Sr. and Lola (Howard) Lewis. He moved with his parents to Minneapolis, Minnesota where he resided until his early twenties when he decided to return to Camden, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Lola Lewis, a brother, James Rayford and a sister, Betty Ann Lewis.
He became a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He joined Lockheed Martin in 1982 working as a Waste Water Treatment Operator. He was promoted in 1987 to Facilities Supervisor/Environmental Specialist, and again in 1992 to Senior Environmental Engineer where he worked 31 years building many professional and community friendships. His intellect, service, and integrity allowed him to earn many awards and certifications while at Lockheed Martin. He was known as a charismatic, caring, and giving individual to all that knew him.
He loved to fish, barbeque, cook, travel, and entertain all his family and friends. It brought so much joy to him to spend quality time with his close friends and loved ones.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 35 years Marcia (Poole) Lewis, three children, Cassondra Pierson “Puddin”, Jason Lewis (Kalilah), and Veronica Lewis “Nica”, one brother Harry Lewis Jr. (Loretta); four grandchildren, D’mitri, Laila, Mia, and Alanah; (Aunt) Aliner Phillips, (Uncle) Willie Lewis Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will from 1 pm until 7 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church on Thursday, December 4, 2014. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm. Services to commemorate his life will be shared on December 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas. Rev. Roy Williams, will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden, Arkansas.
