Harold R. Green

Green was born June 18, 1960, in Gurdon, Arkansas son of Emma Alexander and Willie Green. Harold was a graduate of Arkadelphia High School and attended Tate Temple COGIC. He was raised in the homes of the Buckley family and the Hearn family of the Richmond Hill Community. He worked for a construction company in Hot Springs and most recently attended church services at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church in Gurdon, Arkansas. In his 48th season on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas Harold answered the call that no man can refuse and now rests in the arms of the Lord. Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Angela L. Morris and her husband Gary of Hot Springs, AR; Jasmine Bill and DeUndrio Green of Little Rock, AR; one brother, Willie Ed Green of Joilet, IL; one sister, Vicki Green of Gurdon, AR; two aunts Hazel Welch of Gurdon, AR; Fannie Hawthorne of Gurdon, AR; and two grandchildren Autumn Williams and DeUndrio Green, Jr. A memorial service in remembrance of the life of Mr. Green will be held Friday, January 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the J. L. Williams Memorial Chapel at Williams Funeral Home with Elder Charles Buckley officiating.
