Geola (Brown) Hart of Gurdon, AR, died December 12, 2015, in Atlanta, GA while visiting her daughter. She was born to John Henry Brown and Hannah Brown on December 13, 1923 in Holly Grove, AR. She was the second of thirteen children. She will continue to be called “Babe” and “Aunt Babe” by her family members. She met and married Grady Hart, Jr. after she moved to Palo Alto, CA. Their union was blessed with four children; Katie M Hart, Katharine Hart-Warfield, Grady Hart III and Dean E. Hart. “Mom” was “granny” to six grandchildren and two great grand-children. She excelled in sewing, cooking and gardening. She enjoyed sharing the fruits of her labor. She looked forward to “going out in service” with her Jehovah Witness family members. She was known to live the golden rule found in the Bible at Matthew 7:12. She always encouraged everyone around her to treat others as they would wish to be treated. Geola was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six siblings, many other family members and several very close friends. Left to cherish precious memories are her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces/nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. She went from traveling by mule and wagon in her early years to traveling by airplane in her later years. Family members and friends are grateful for being part of that journey. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 140 Malvern Road, Caddo Valley, AR. Burial will be at Holly Grove Cemetery following the services.
