Patricia Ann McCoy

Patricia Ann McCoy was born May 7, 1948 in Warren, Arkansas to the union of Fred and Alma Scott Peters McCoy. As a youth she moved to Arkadelphia where she attended Peake High School. Patricia was a great mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She was a hard worker and did her very best in raising and providing for her children. She “meant what she said” and “said what she meant”. She enjoyed cooking and was an impeccable housekeeper. She was a fun loving lady who enjoyed cracking jokes. She was no doubt a people person and many were drawn to her friendly personality. Patricia made her transition to her heavenly home on Saturday, February 6, 2016 surrounded by her family and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Anthony Jameel McCoy; a grandson, Carl DeWayne Anderson; her brothers James Ford, Aubrey McCoy, Robert McCoy, Leon and Cleon McCoy. Patricia leaves to mourn her passing: her beloved daughters, Rouvenda Sims of Caddo Valley, AR, Lencola (Pierre) Robertson of Gurdon, AR, Kimberly McCoy of Gurdon, AR; sons, James (Cassandra) Marshall of Hope, AR, Nathaniel Sims of Oklahoma City, OK, Rockine McCoy of Gurdon, AR and Henry Charles Williams of Gurdon, AR; her brothers, Scotty (Debra) McCoy, David McCoy, and Frank McCoy all of Little Rock, AR; her sisters, Freddie Ogburn of Chicago, IL, and Clemmie (Kareem) Hance of Little Rock, AR. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at Kingdom Authority Ministries in Gurdon, Arkansas on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Quintin C. Radford will officiate. Interment will be in Rose Hedge Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m.
