Isaiah “Zack” Craig, Sr., was born on July 18, 1944 in Dallas County, Arkansas to the union of Ment and Idonia Pace Craig. Zack was a life-long member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. He worked several years with the Ray White Lumber Company and lastly as a private contractor until he retired. He loved the attention of family and friends and he always found a way to make a person laugh. He enjoyed get-togethers, eating, sports and fishing. His pilgrimage was modest, but full and fulfilling. “Zack” did it his way. On Saturday, January 28, 2017, he slipped the bonds of this life for a life in eternity. This giant of a man will be tremendously missed. There was nothing he couldn’t accomplish. He was a man that left his family and friends with uncountable and unmeasurable memories. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ment Craig (June 9, 1994), Idonia Craig (November 4, 2009); one son, Isaiah Craig, Jr. (May 3, 1990); two sisters, Louise Felt and Mildred Thomas and one brother, Lawrence Craig. Although Zack is no longer with us in body, and his irreplaceable presence will be deeply missed, his love will live on in the hearts and minds of all those who were impacted by the amazing life he lived. He leaves his beloved wife, Minnie Pearl Craig of Carthage, AR; his children, Dana Craig of Arkadelphia, AR, Jeanne Jones of Arkadelphia, AR, Norman (Felicia) Jacobs, Sr., of Malvern, AR, Kelly Craig (Donta Thrower) of Bearden, AR, Reggie (Barbara) Craig of Hot Springs, AR, Corrie (Vanessa) Craig of Camden, AR, Ebonie (Patrick) Craig-Dawn of Carthage, AR, Keiana (Alim) Craig-Hogan of Hot Springs, AR, and Shakara (Antonio) Oakley-Lomack of Princeton, AR; sisters, Betty Joe Craig of Malvern, AR and Rose (John) Hope of San Antonio, TX; sister-in-law, Pearl Craig of Rockford, IL; 34 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, special friends, Greg Jacobs of Carthage, AR, Gary Wright of Bearden, AR, other friends and the Harmony Baptist Church family.
