A Glimpse into His Life Otis Earl Gulley was born into this world on December 23, 1956 to Earder and Emma Purifoy Gulley. He was given the nickname “Jake” whom all his family and loved ones would call him. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and untied with Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Bluff City, Arkansas under great leadership. He served as a trustee and awesome usher and gladly lifted his voice in the male choir. He also was the trusted van driver for most of the church functions. Otis spent many years in the logging business owning his own truck with the name “O’Gulley Trucking for Jesus”. He was well known and respected for his helping hands and big heart. On November7, 1975 Otis united in marriage with Shelia Mosley and to this union three daughters were born. At the tender age of 60 on May 26, 2017, surrounded by his three daughters, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called another one of His children home. There he would begin his eternal rest in a land with no more sickness. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Frank Gulley. II Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
