Velma Riles was born into time on February 13, 1906, in Fordyce, Arkansas.
He had a loving spirit, great sense of humor and never met a stranger. He was a local truck driver and was a United States Army Veteran.
He was a fighter until the end and in his 103rd season of life his journey ended on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at St. John’s Place Nursing Home in Fordyce, Arkansas.
A graveside tribute to his life will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Elder Hosea D. Malone the pastor of Walker Temple COGIC will inspire words of comfort.
