Kevin Glenn Taylor, Sr.

On August 28, 1956, Glenn Taylor and Barbara Lynn Taylor were blessed with the birth of their first child and only son, Kevin Glenn Taylor, in Chicago, Illinois. Kevin was introduced to Christ as an early age. He was always quick to make friends with his charismatic personality. Kevin enlisted in the United States Army at the age of seventeen. After leaving the military, Kevin began employment with Hughes Aircraft in Culver City, California. In 1979, Kevin married Derith Hogan, out of this union they were blessed with the birth of their only child, Kevin Glenn Taylor, II. Kevin met Denise Hatch and from this union was born his daughter, LaKeisha Lynn Taylor. Kevin met and married Patricia Taylor on November 30, 1991. In 1993, he and Patricia moved to Gum Springs, Arkansas. Soon after settling Gum Springs, Kevin was employed by Taylor Electronics. Kevin lived his life his way. He passed into the Lord’s embrace Monday, December 17, 2017. His passions were motorcycles, dancing, and his dogs. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Taylor (October 10, 2013) and his mother, Barbara Lynn Taylor (November 13, 2015). Kevin leaves to cherish his memories his son, Kevin G. Taylor, II; his daughter LaKeisha L. Taylor, and his step-daughter Ebony; his two grand-daughters, Alana Taylor and Jayla; his father, Glenn Taylor; his two sisters Glenda Taylor and Nyra Taylor-Lewis; one nephew and one niece; his special friend Shirley Cooks; and a host of relatives and friends.
