God hath made everything beautiful in His time. On January 16, 1951, He brought forth Betty Joyce Daniel, one of His most beautiful and valuable creations.
Betty was the 2nd child born to Charles and Dorothy Jefferson Daniel. She grew up in Sparkman surrounded by the love of her younger sisters and brothers. She attended Sparkman Training School. During her early childhood Betty accepted Christ and united with the First Missionary Baptist Church family under the pastorate of Rev. G. C. Cook.
God entrusted Betty with the greatest task of all; to nurture, raise, and love a little boy she named Eric. The Lord blessed Betty with sweet years before he passed into His embrace.
Family as well as friends will miss her smile, her love, but will never forget her mild spirit and compassionate heart. She lived life to the fullest, and there was never a dull moment when Betty was around. Because love is far greater than death, she departs this earth in body only.
On Sunday, March 7, 2010 in her 58th season, Betty slipped the surly bonds of earth, trading time for eternity in the presence of the Lord She was welcomed home by her father, brother Charles Edward, sisters Lou Ida, Renetta, Shirley, her beloved and only son, Eric.
Betty’s life has left indelible impressions in the hearts and minds of her mother, Dorothy Daniel of Sparkman, AR; one brother, Elder Carl F. Daniel of Little Rock, AR; three sisters, Sharon Daniel, Phyllis (Ricky) Harrison both of Sparkman, AR, and Celesia Williams of Arkadelphia, AR; one special aunt, Veleria Govan of Sparkman, AR; one great-aunt, Erma Jean Hall of Sparkman, AR; and one great-uncle, Leon Keith of Milwaukee, WI.
Those also left to cherish her love and laughter are her special friends Edna Hunter, Brenda Israel, nine nieces - a special one Alesha Harrison, seven nephews, and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
