Sarah M. Hill-Shell

Sarah Hill Shell, was born April 21, 1918, in Minden, Louisiana. She was called home to be with the Lord on March 19, 2010 in Sacramento, California after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings and two children, Cicero Clark and Bobbie Wesson. She is survived by her daughters, Freddy (Isaiah) Ollison and Velma Clark Moss, both of Sacramento, California, numerous grandchildren, her sister, Bessie Martin of Minden Louisiana, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Shell will lie in state Friday, April 2, 2010, 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home and her family will greet friends from 6-7 p.m. at Visitors Chapel AME Church in Hot Springs. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Visitors Chapel AME Church. The committal service and final resting place will be in Crestview Cemetery in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
