Linda Louise Box

August 15, 1953 — October 31, 2010

Our world is much richer because we were blessed to have Linda Louise Arnold in our life. She began her earthly sojourn through life on the fifteenth of August 1953, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and completed her journey when her immortal spirit soared to its eternal resting place on Sunday, October 31, 2010, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center with her family at her side. Linda was born to Bennie Lee Arnold, Sr. and Orine Smith Arnold. At an early age, she made a personal decision to accept Christ as her Savoir. She was 1972 of graduate Peake High School. Linda attended Henderson State University and Ouachita Technical College in Malvern. The Lord entrusted Linda with the greatest task of all and that was to raise and nurture Darren, Leilani, LaRhonda, and Lee, Jr. On October 29, 1983, she became the wife of Lee Otis Box and mother to Cletis, Steve, Margo, Amy and Tina. Linda was an employee of Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center. Her friends remember her as having a strong work ethic and being dedicated to her duties as a caregiver. She joined Gennesaret Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Charles Hood. Linda was not a woman of many words, but of many virtues. She was a good woman, loving mother and a faithful friend. She traveled this road of life and dealt with the stormy and sunny days along the way to the best of her ability. Even as her health begun to decline, Linda kept a smile and would sometimes be caught trying to dance. She possessed a friendly spirit and never met a stranger. Because love is far greater than death, Linda departs this earth in body only. Her gentle smile and infectious laugh lives on in the minds and hearts of her loving and devoted husband, Lee Otis; her children, Darren Guinn, Sr., of Portland, OR, Leilani Buckley of Arkadelphia, AR, LaRhonda Guinn of Arkadelphia, AR, Lee Otis Box, Jr., of Portland, OR, Cletis Dorn of Portland, OR, Steve Booth of Pine Bluff, AR, Margo Box of Rockford, IL, Amy Box of Gary, IN, and Tina Box of Oakland, CA; twenty-eight grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter Keonna Guinn; one sister, Glinda (Willie) Barton of Arkadelphia; two brothers, Rickey (Shasta) Arnold, Sr., of Everett, WA and Bennie (Shelia) Arnold, Jr., of Marysville, WA; her father-in-law, Otis Lee Box of Rockford, IL; three sisters-in-law, Betty Smith of Arkadelphia, Cora Roberts of Malvern, AR, and Elizabeth Reedy of Malvern, AR; two brothers-in-law, Donald Box and Chris Box both of Rockford, IL; six aunts, Louise Perry of Arkadelphia, Elizabeth (Herbert) Ross of Arkadelphia, Vera Mercer of Yakama, WA, Florence (Rev.
