Allene Carter was born on December 15, 1948 in Sparkman, Arkansas to Marshall Crudup and Birthia Carter. She accepted Christ at a young age and was a 1966 graduate of Sparkman Training School.
She moved to Milwaukee where she worked for Miller Brewery for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church where she served as church secretary and later united with Holy Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. In 2016, Allene moved back to Arkansas. She enjoyed the simple pleasures that life offered. She enjoyed listening to a variety of music and shopping. He greatest hobbies included playing bingo, watching westerns and her weekly lottery tickets.
Allene passed from this life on November 24, 2020 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Crudup, several aunts and uncles.
Her memory will love on in the hearts of her mother, Birthia Carter Delamar of Sparkman; aunts, Lucille Carte and Jeanette Carter; an uncle, Lonnell Crudup of Malvern, AR; her favorite nephews, Ricky Carter, Horace Carter, Jr., and Gary Johnson; special cousins, Ava Carter Noblin, Lelia Williams, SV Pennix and Brenda Mitchell. She also leaves other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Centerpoint Cemetery in Sparkman, Arkansas with Rev. JL Newborn, officiating.
