Beverlyn Ann Williams was born into this life on April 2, 1956, in Clark County, Arkansas to William Brim and Willie Marie Deloach. She grew up to be a fun-loving and intelligent young lady.
Beverlyn was a 1974 graduate of Arkadelphia High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Services from Henderson State University. She worked as Coordinator for Area on Aging Agency Senior Companion. She made friends easily and everyone knew Beverlyn.
She was first baptized at Piney Grove AME Church as a little girl and later united with Manchester COGIC. She later united with New Calvary Temple COGIC. While attending New Calvary Temple Church Of God in Christ in North Little Rock, under the leadership of Bishop D. L. Lindsey, Missionary Beverlyn Williams was a faithful member of the Missionary Alliance. Upon becoming active at the Calvary Church Of God In Christ under the leadership of Bishop Robert G. Rudolph, Jr., Missionary Williams served as coordinator of “Calvary Honors” which highlighted the accomplishments of community leaders during Black History Month. She was also one of the first who financially supported the renovation of Calvary’s facilities in Malvern.
In addition to her involvement as a missionary in the Arkansas Second Jurisdiction, she was an enthusiastic supporter of the St. Maarten Rehoboth Jurisdiction programs. A true servant in every aspect of the word, Beverlyn did not mind lending her time, talent, and treasures to people, causes, and organizations.
Being the consummate reader with a personal intent to solidify her knowledge, she studied the Bible and knew it. She was Holy Ghost-filled and with a youthful spirit, she modeled what she read and danced with the exuberance of a teenager. She was gifted with the tambourine and could help lift service with her skillful sets.
Beverlyn passed from this life on Saturday, September 24, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her sister, Renetta Deloach.
Because love is greater than death she will live on in the hearts of her sisters, Vanessa Delamar and Snower Deloach both of Arkadelphia; nieces, Carla Delamar Kress (Gary) and Tanika Saldana (Ucatavio) both of Arkadelphia; great nieces and nephews, Octavio Saldana, Corbin Saldana, and Sabrina White, as well as, great-great nieces and nephews. She also leaves her goddaughter, Krystal (Lance) Tate of Arkadelphia; her beloved dogs, Reecie and Harley; a host of cousins, friends, and the Calvary COGIC family.
