Brian Brooks

September 5, 1997 — November 21, 2019

Brian Nelson Brooks was born into this world on Friday, September 5, 1997, to the loving arms of his mother LaTonya Williams Brooks and Rodney Brian Brooks in Baptist Health Medical Center, Little Rock, Arkansas. His mother knew right away that Brian would leave indelible impressions in the hearts of those who would meet him. Brian was a graduate of McClellan High School, Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was an AVID student, and active yearbook staff member. He played football at school but his love for sports was basketball, being a diehard fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. He enjoyed his friends and teachers, bringing a smile to their faces with his daily charisma. He was full of life bringing joy to everyone he met, and most importantly, he was a mama’s boy.  Brian accepted our Lord as his Savior, baptized on March 2, 2008 and becoming a member of Longley Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Dwight Townsend, Sr.                                         . He was employed as an Environmental Service Technician at Baptist Health Medical Center, Little Rock, Arkansas. Brian loved his job, the patients, and his Baptist family.  He was preceded in his passing by his brother, Brandon Brooks (2018), his grandfathers, Ben Williams (2013) and Judge N. Evans (2012). He leaves to forever remember his legacy: his mother, LaTonya Williams Brooks; his father, Rodney Brooks; his sister Ashlynn Brooks; his dog, Prince Henry Brooks; his grandmothers, Carolyn Allen Evans and Karen Brooks; his godparents, Crystal Braswell, Leatrice Glenns and Arbra Ackee; his church family, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and a caravan of friends, all of Little Rock, Arkansas. A service to Celebrate Brian's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Longley Baptist Church, Little Rock, Arkansas.  Dr. Dwight Townsend, Sr., pastor.
