Carmella Carter Benavidez

On February 21,1964 Carmella Carter was born to the late Ural and Shirley Carter in Camden Arkansas at Ouachita County Hospital. Carmella was the second of six children.

Carmella graduated from Chidester High School in 1983.  Thereafter, Carmella attended McKinney Job Corps where she received a Culinary Certification. She was an outstanding cook of any type of food you desired. (Especially Soul & Mexican Food). Carmella worked in the Home Health Profession for many years. She enjoyed helping people, crafting, drawing, and sewing. She was no stranger to anyone, she was a loving and caring daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt and friend.

Carmella Benavidez is proceeded in death by her (Husband) Alberto Benavidez; (Brother) Earl Lee Carter; (Father) Ural Lee Carter; (Mother) Shirley Ann Carter; (Sibling) Baby Carter; (Grandparents) Zack & Jennie Carter; Jessie & Fannie Penny; and Beloved Dog "Tiny".

On December 31, 2020, Carmella leaves to cherish her memories is her 3 three siblings: (Brother) Karl Bernard Carter of Chidester Arkansas (Sisters) Jessica Carter and Ranner Carter of Dallas Texas, three uncles, two aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, friends and her beloved pet "Dog" Cricket.

A memorial service to commemorate her life will be shared with family and friends at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Good Hope Cemetery, 1230 Hwy 57, Chidester, Arkansas.
