Clara Brim Keith was born on April 5, 1943 in Sparkman, Arkansas to Dorothy Marie Mays. She was raised by her uncle and aunt Booker and Vera Brim who loved her as their own daughter.
She accepted Christ at a young age and attended the Sparkman Training School. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Sparkman and later united with Joshua Possessing the Promises Ministry in Milwaukee under the leadership of Bishop Kevin Carter.
