Mrs. Corine Perry was born August 30, 1940, in Okolona, Arkansas to Charlie and Icy Mae Wiley. She joined the First Baptist Church of Okolona at an early age. The family later relocated to Arkadelphia. She became a full-time homemaker to raise her children and assist with the grandchildren. She loved gardening, fishing, cooking, feeding people and most of all loved her family.
Corine passed from this life on April 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Icy Mae Wiley; husband, Billy Joe Perry; two sisters, Mary Ellen Hale and Marlene Wiley; one brother, Charlie D. Wiley and a grandson, Nicholas Boyd Perry, Jr. (1992 – 2010).
Mrs. Corine Perry leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Betty Battle and Tamara McClure; two sons, Edwin Perry and Nicholas Perry, Sr., all of Arkadelphia, AR; six grandchildren, Gabriel (Monique) Parker of Flint, MI, Denise Perry, Adavion Perry, Ayesha McClure, and J’Layiah Perry, all of Arkadelphia, AR; eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pearl (Bruce) Wiley of Galesburg, IL, and Gwendolyn Wheatley of Fort Worth, TX; and one brother, Calvin (Lavern) Wiley of Grand Prairie, TX; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and special niece, Denise Deffebaugh of Galesburg, IL.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. A service in honor of her life will be shared at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Williams Funeral Home, with Rev. James H. Giles, eulogist. Interment will be at Piney Grove Cemetery.
