Services commemorating the life of Dakota Nikcos Rainey will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at New Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 1302 Mayhew Street in Fordyce, Arkansas with Rev. Floyd Bennett, officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will be at Hampton Springs Cemetery in Carthage, Arkansas.
Dakota transitioned from this life on March 1, 2023, at his home in Malvern, Arkansas. He was born April 21, 1986, to Darlene Allen Rainey and Tony Spears. He was a member of the Birch Tree Community which offered him hope for greater satisfaction with the quality of his life. He was a fun-loving and charismatic person who made friends easily. He enjoyed singing, writing, dancing, and cooking.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Rainey; sister, Amber Rainey; brothers, Derrick Finks, and Tony Spears, Jr.; his grandmother, Willie Mae Harris and grandfather, Jessie Allen.
Dakota leaves his father, Tony Spears; his siblings, Wendy (Jamie) Williams of Bearden, AR; Elgreco Rainey of Fordyce, AR; Debbie Rainy of Sherwood, AR; Kimberly Spears of Fordyce, AR; and Cordaro Glenn, as well as, his aunts, Mary (Randy) Williams, Ruth Harris, Claudia Stanton and Assunto (Calvin) Eason; uncle, Alex Smith; his extended family and friends at the Birch Tree Community.
