Damion L. Burnell was born on December 22, 1991 in Camden, Arkansas to Orlando Burnell and Alice Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joycelyn Broadway; his grandfather, Ray Dean Porchia and his great-grandparents, Richard “Buster” Mitchell and Delois Mitchell.
Damion accepted Christ at a young age; he had a passionate love for God. He attended church in Gwinnett and attended Gwinnett High School. Damion was all about his family and music and a local artist known as “Kidd Roc.”
Damion leaves his mother, Alice (Michael) Junior and his father, Orlando Burnell; a god-mother, LaTina Hill-McHenry; a god-sister, Ebony Perkins; his brothers, Redford, Antonio, Ja’Sean and Norris; a sister, Sha’Mya; his grandparents, Joyce and Kevin Malone; uncles, Sheldon (Sepria) Mitchell and Princeton Cunningham; his extended family, Craig (Wanda), Kevin (Gloria) and Alex Robson; a special friend, Venice Toe, as well as, a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Damion will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 at The Word Family Church with Pastor Jacovis Davis officiating. Cremation service are provided by Williams Funeral Home Van Buren, 119 Van Buren Street, Camden, AR 71701 870-836-1121.
