Dominique Ramon Johnson

September 18, 1991 — July 14, 2024

Hot Springs

The handsome and loving life of Dominique Ramon Johnson came to a close on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Baptist Medical Center located in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born September 18, 1991 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Arkansas to Dedrick and Adele Langstaff Johnson. He was welcomed home by is precious sister, Natile Martin.

Dominique is a 2009 graduate of Arkadelphia High School. He received a welding scholarship to Ouachita Technical College (aka ASU Three Rivers, Malvern). He played baseball in the Arkadelphia Little League as a child and played baseball and football during high school.

Dominique was fondly referred to as “Boo” by his mother, Adele and “Tank by his friends and classmates.

As a child, he attended church at Gennesaret Missionary Baptist Church and Mt. Morriah Missionary Baptist Church. He was an active member of the youth choir, youth department and Sunday school. Dominique was excited when he was chosen to be the lead soloist for “This Little Light of Mine”.

He was reared by a village of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Dominique spent time with his family in Arkadelphia and his family in Griffintown. He was heartbroken when his cousin Brandon passed July 15, 2023. Not only were they cousins they were friends.

After graduation, Dominique lived in Hot Springs and Little Rock. He met Alexis, his significant other. They had two beautiful children Arielle Fae Johnson and Devin Ramone Johnson.

His passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of those who loved and knew him. He lives on through the recipients of his big loving heart, kidneys, and lungs. Dominique was an “Organ Donor”. A close family member received one of his kidneys.

Dominique was greeted to his Eternal Home by his great grandparents Earnest & Elizabeth Carr, Roy, Sr & Dorothy Johnson, his grandparents Will & Ida Langstaff, his special aunt Janetta Carr-Buckley, his cousin/friend, Brandon Blevins and a host of other family members.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Adele Johnson of North Little Rock, Arkansas, father Dedrick (Kimberley) Johnson of Hot Springs, Arkansas, his significant other, Alexis Lindsey, daughters, Dalajiah Johnson of Little Rock, Arkansas, Arielle Fae Johnson and Devin Ramone Johnson of Hot Springs, Arkansas, his sister Natile Martin of Bryant, Arkansas, his grandparents, Joe & Marshall Johnson of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, his sister/aunts Temetria Johnson Harris (Terrell) and Talisha Johnson Phifer (Darnell) of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, his bonus siblings Antron Johnson and Jerome Johnson of Hot Springs, Arkansas, nieces, Aniyah, Johanna, Janiah and An’Janay Johnson all of Hot Springs, Arkansas, nephews, Jaylen Hill and Javeon Ledbetter of Bryant, Arkansas, special friend Bradley (April) Mitchell and the Druid Hills Boys and a host of other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

He may be gone from this earthly home resting with Lord, but he will always live in our hearts.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. (James 1:5-6)
