Ms. Glenda Faye Alexander was born on January 25, 1956 in Monroe LA. On March 24, 2021 she transitioned from this life to eternal life.
Glenda was proceeded in death by her mother Bessie Jones, step father Hampton Jones, Uncle Boza Williams, and two special friends, Isaac Andrews and Diane Avery.
Glenda attended Mt. Gillard Baptist church under the leadership of the late Rev. James Jones. She was a 1975 graduate of Camden High School and obtained her certificate in sales and marketing from Oil Belt Technical Institute in 1991. She served as a cashier at Piggly Wiggly in Cardinal shopping center for 23 years.
In 1975 Glenda married Willie Alexander and to this union two daughters were born.
Glenda loved spending time with her two daughters and four grandchildren. She was a dedicated player of solitary. She enjoyed doing word searches daily and watching the food network, wheel of fortune, and jeopardy.
The community of Camden has suffered a great loss. Glenda’s memory will forever live on in our hearts. She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters Alenda Fogle (Keithron) of Camden, AR and Cicely Williams (Hershall) of Arkadelphia, AR. Four grandchildren: Shawnti, Gabrielle, Hershall Jr. and Alexandria. Three brothers: Robert Livingston (Retha) of Memphis, TN, Stephen Livingston (Debora) of Gurdon, AR, and Dennis Grant of Camden, AR. She also leaves a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Public visitation will be Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.at Williams Funeral Home Van Buren in Camden. Service will be graveside at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Patton Cemetery in Camden, Arkansas.
