He was a 1987 graduate of Hampton High School where he excelled as a student and athlete. He was by far one of the most popular students to walk the halls of Hampton High School.

He enlisted in the United States Army on June 3, 1987, and served until September 1987. He re-enlisted on March 6, 1991, and was honorably discharged on July 29, 1994.

He enjoyed watching college football and being in the company of his family and friends. Glenn leaves a legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering commitment to serving and protecting his community.

Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Lynn Johnson and Lillie Mae Hegler Langley; and two sisters, Debra L. Johnson and Mary A. Johnson.
