The sweet, loving, and charismatic life of Jacqueloyn Denise McDaniel, known to many as “Jackie” passed from this life on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in the Richmond Hill Community. Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2022, from noon until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jackie was born on April 3, 1964, to the union of Samuel David Snowden and Ozella Piggee Snowden. She accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of the Church of Christ. She grew up in Delight, Arkansas, and was a 1982 graduate of Delight High School. Her loving demeanor and smile were like a magnet that drew others to her.
She married Gregory E. McDaniel on December 31, 1999. She worked and was widely known throughout the Arkadelphia Public School District having worked at the Arkadelphia High, Peake Elementary, and Peritt Primary Schools. Jackie united with Antioch Baptist Church and was a dedicated member.
Jackie was a “girly woman” who loved fashion, clothes, and looking good. She was a well-established and sought-after beautician. She developed several lasting relationships with her clients. She won their trust by giving wise counsel; proving to be a true friend.
She enjoyed shopping and sewing. Her favorite music was gospel with one of her favorite songs being “God Did It”, she enjoyed the blues and her favorite artist was Johnny Taylor. Jackie live life to the fullest and encouraged others to do the same.
Her memory will be forever woven into the lives of her husband, Gregory D. McDaniel of Arkadelphia; her children, Regina M. Eason (Robert White, Jr.), Erica S. Leeper (Kenneth Lewis, Jr.), Candra N. McDaniel (Kandell Buckley), and Arkilious T. McDaniel (Alisa Andry) all of Arkadelphia, AR; and Gregory D. McDaniel of Wilton, AR; her bonus children, Aaliyah R. Beasley, Amya N. Snowden, Christina A. Eason and Keauntae Gray all of Arkadelphia, AR; seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her sister, Angela Newton of Delight; three brothers Samuel D. Snowden of Delight, AR, Michael G. (Brandy) Snowden of Prescott, AR and Eddie L. Gentry of Redwater, TX; her bonus brother, Bruce Gray and Arron Wilson; and her mother and father-in-law, Shirley and Johnny McDaniel of Okolona, AR. Jackie also leaves an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her and added to the richness of her life.
We deeply appreciate your kind expressions of sympathy in our time of sudden loss. We are grateful for your prayers and well wishes. Thank you for your cards, calls, texts, social media posts, and company. Jackie was loved by many and will be missed immensely. Our hearts are heavy, but we rejoice knowing that to live is Christ and to die is gain.
