The world was forever changed on December 28, 1996, when Yolandra Green and James E. Neal welcomed the birth of a little boy they named James Edward Neal, Jr.
“JJ” as most knew him grew up in Camden and had many friends. He was that cool laid-back friend. He loved to joke around and just have a good time. He attended Fairview High School in Camden where he played on the football team.
He was employed as a truck driver with APEX Trucking in East Camden. Although he was not perfect, he strived to be a great son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend. He loved his family and he will truly be missed. He was a die-hard Labron James fan and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. His energetic personality brought laughter and life. He always maintained close ties to his family; especially his nephew, Isaiah whom he loved as a son. He was real and kept it “100” all the time.
During all of his twenty-three seasons of life, he made friends across all walks of life. He was loved and no doubt will always be remembered.
He leaves his mother, Yolandra (Glenn, Jr.) Nash of Camden, AR; his father, James Edward Neal, Sr., of Camden, AR; grandparents, Elder Earl and Sandra S. Green of Camden, AR; grandmother, Carolyn Rhodes of Camden, AR; aunts, Katisha Green of Stephens, AR, uncles, DeWayne Green of Camden, AR, Joshua Green of Lexington, KY, Carolyn Rhodes of Camden, AR; godmother/grandmother, Bobbie Jones of Camden, AR; his nephew whom he loved as a son, Isiah Green of Arkadelphia AR; brother, Ahmod (Tasha) Green of Oklahoma City, OK; his niece, Addison Green of Oklahoma City, OK; a sister Ta’Mera Miller of Jonesboro, AR and a bonus brother, Glenn lll “Tray” (Neisha) Nash of Camden, AR; Vertis Manely of San Diego, A, Daisy (Lloyd) Handy of Fountain Valley, CA and Emma Wallace of Riverside CA; Jack Burris of Hot Springs, AR, Jackie Ray Neal of El Dorado and Jeff Neal of Fountain Valley, CA; a special friend, Tarren Elizabeth of Camden, AR.
