On March 26, 2015, Justin and Khadijah welcomed a brown bouncing bubble of joy. Her parents knew right away that Janilah Shantelle Williams would win the hearts of the world. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and an enthusiastic 2nd grader at Louisa E. Perritt Primary School.
She was affectionately called “Nilah”. She liked to make TIK TOKs, dance, turn cartwheels and twirl in circles. Whether she was navigating through her iPad just to find the right silly video she wanted or posing for pictures with family and friends, she made life fun. She loved pretty lights, sparkle and glitter; everything little girls love. She had dreams of becoming a cheerleader. Her favorite Disney character was Moana. Her favorite snacks were Super Donuts, Reese Peanut butter Cups and pizza.
Her giggles and smile will be forever remembered by her parents, Justin J. Williams and Khadijah B. Campbell; her baby brother, Curtis Jace Williams; her grandparents, Billy and Margaret Campbell of Arkadelphia, Shelia and David Giles of Sparkman, Wayne and Kathy Williams of Houston, TX and Monique and James Walker of Arkadelphia; her great-great grandmother, Suzanna Riley of Texarkana, TX; her best friend and special cousin, Nekeva Campbell. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, her classmates, the faculty, staff and friends of Louisa E. Perritt Primary School.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor J.L. Newborn, officiating and Minister Richard Williams, eulogist. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Berine, Arkansas.
Casket bearers will be Mario Hughes, Bobby Campbell, Billy Joe Campbell, Jr., Chris Harrison, Cord Gregory, Jamelle Lacy, Kentrell Green, Mark Williams. Honorary casket bearers will be the classmates, faculty, staff and friends of Perritt Primary School.
Memorials or contributions may be made to the Khadijah Campbell Fund at Southern Bancorp.
