Jaraldine Smith Neal was born on March 31, 1943 in Fordyce, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Henry Smith and Rosie Lee Marshall Smith. She attended school at Calhoun County Training School. At an early age she joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church where she remained an active member inter her health began to decline.
Jaraldine worked for the Arkansas State Highway Department for many years as a flagger and dump trucker operator. She enjoyed fishing and gardening.
On Sunday, December 13, 2020 God whispered to Jaraldine it’s time to come home. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Smith; her mother, Rosie Lee Smith; two sons, George Washington Neal, III (August 2, 2016) and Bobby Ray Neal (September 28, 2019); one sister, Francilla Pickett and one brother, Homer Dean Finks.
Jaraldine leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Billy Ray Neal (Rithea) of Fordyce, AR and one daughter, Sarah Ann Neal of Fordyce, AR; five sisters, Betty A. Moore (Rev. Troy Moore), Susie Wilson and Sandra K. Matthews (Doug) all of Fordyce, AR, Johnnie Mae Charles of Warren, AR and Annette Smith of Hot Springs; one brother, Kenneth Ray Moore of Fordyce, AR; six grandchildren, Tarsha Taylor, Ashlee Tanner (Nick), Jeffery Taylor, Tequilla Meads and Mantrel Neal all of Fordyce, AR and Joshua Clary of Las Vegas, NV; three bonus grandchildren, Roderick Davidson, Sr., of Conway, AR, Justine Davison, Sr., of Oceanside, CA and Antwan Davidson of Smackover, AR. She also leaves sixteen great-grandchildren, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Public visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home Van Buren, 119 Van Buren Street in Camden. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Enon Cemetery with Rev. Troy Moore, officiating and Rev. Ellis Lee Hogan, eulogist.
