Jar'Veez O'Brian Price

November 21, 1995 — October 12, 2021

On November 21, 1995, Jar’Veez O’Brian Price made his amazing entrance into God’s beautiful earth to begin his earthly life. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the proud parents of Bryan Luwatis Price and Beverly Regine Johnson. Jar’Veez received his name months before he was born. The inside family joke a the time of his mother’s pregnancy was “the jar is about to open” so he was affectionally called “Jar”.

He slept peacefully making his grand entrance into eternity to the promised land on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at his home. Jar’Veez professed his life to Christ at a very young age and was a faithful member of Saint James A.M.E. Church in Sparkman, Arkansas. He loved attending church and participating in church services.

He was a 2014 graduate of Sparkman High School. He was very outgoing and active in school activities. He was awarded and completed the OBU Upward Bound Program. After high school, he attended Southern Arkansas University Tech in East Camden, Arkansas. He was formerly employed by Georgia Pacific in Gurdon, Arkansas, and Lockheed Martin in East Camden, Arkansas.

He was a loving, caring, kind, and friendly person who always displayed his impeccable smile. He dearly loved his mother, sister, family, and friends. Jar was loved by many. Outgoing and always happy, he was never hard to please. Everyone knew when Jar’Veez was in the room it would be an amazing time.

Jar was preceded in death by his beloved father, Bryan Price who passed into the Lord's embrace on July 9, 2002; his grandparents, James and Dorothy Price; and grandfather, Henry Henderson (2001).

His precious memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his mother, Beverly Johnsons of Sparkman, AR; his loving sister, La’Gina Price of East Camden, AR; grandparents, Lee (Linda) Johnson of Arkadelphia; grandmother, Lovie Henderson of Sparkman, AR; uncles, Rodney (Wilma) Johnson of McKinney, TX, and Terry Price of Little Rock, AR; aunts, Lisa Price, Shelia Price, Annette Price, and Leanette Price all of Little Rock, AR; his best friends, Kody (Jacqueline) Olmedo and children of Gurdon, AR. He also leaves numerous relatives and friends.
