Jeremy Lamar "Boo" Sherman

Jeremy L. Sherman was born on March 23, 1993 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was raised in Malvern, Arkansas and was a 2012 graduate of Malvern High School. He completed his studies in business management and was a graduate of Independence University.

He would visit Liberty Chapel Church in Malvern from time to time. He was caring, polite, and a friend to all. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandmother more than anything.  He loved cooking, fishing, watching football and any R&B music.

Always venturing out to beyond his limits, he made friends easily. He loved his fiancé and daughter immensely all while being a true model of husband father, brother and friend. To know him was to love him. On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, he passed from this life leaving a mark of love. He was preceded in passing by his mother, Yolanda Collins (October 10, 2012).

His charismatic smile will be remembered by his fiancé, Hayley James of Arkadelphia; his beloved grandmother, Linda Bragg of Hot Spring; his daughter, Michelle Sherman of Arkadelphia, AR; sister, Stephanie Francis of Hot Springs, AR; brothers, Stephen Garland of Hot Springs, AR, Dominick (Antique) Garland of Arkadelphia, AR and Stephfon Garland of Hot Springs, AR; his father, Eddie Watkins; an aunt Talitha Francis of Hot Springs, and an uncle, David (Karen) Robinson of Malvern, AR. He also leaves special friends Alfreda Mays, Gwen James (his bonus mom), and Rudolph “Rudy” Garland.

Services will be held at Samuel L. Vance and Sons Funeral Directors, 413 W. Page Ave. in Malvern on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Garrett, officiating. Interment will be at the Masonic Cemetery. Friends and family are asked to wear green and black to commemorate his service.
