Keith Erwin Leeper

June 10, 1972 — January 10, 2022

Keith Erwin Leeper was born the twin son of Henry J. “Bell” and Annie Jewel Jones Leeper on June 10, 1972 in Prescott, Arkansas. Keith and his twin Kevin were active and lively little boys. Growing up in Okolona, Arkansas Keith, Kevin and their younger brother Christopher were often referred to as “Bell’s Boys”.

Keith professed his faith in Christ at an early age, was baptized and united with Pleasant Gove Baptist Church. He served as an usher and enjoyed singing with the Antione Community Choir.

He was a proud graduate of the class of 1991 at  Delight High School. He showed tremendous enthusiasm as a student and excelled in basketball. Keith was a natural at making people laugh and he built lasting friendships with other students, faculty and staff.

Being born into a legacy of loggers, it was no doubt that Keith would soon join the Leeper Logging family as a truck driver. He drove safely for over 30 years.  What began as a CB handle, “Hollywood”, became his nickname among fellow truckers, friends and family alike.

On November 29, 2008 he married Tina M. Royal, whom he fondly and lovingly regarded as “Lil Luther”. This union was blessed with three children. Tina gained Jordan and Keith gained Jacolby and Peyton as bonus sons. Keith was an outstanding father as well as bonus dad. He provided love and support and was present for every event or activity. After making their home in Ashdown, Arkansas, he united with St. Rest Baptist Church where he served as the president of the Usher board. Keith loved spending time with family.  He looked forward to trips home whether it was for a family reunion or a get-together.  He also loved anything associated with Logging. His sense of humor and comedic personality always brought a level of fun and laughter.

Without notice Keith slept away from this life on Monday, January 10, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Jewel Leeper (1950-1999).

We will cherish the memories of laughter as he remains in our hearts forever. Keith will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Tina Royal-Leeper of Ashdown, AR; his children, Jordan Leeper of Dumas, Jacolby Williams and Peyton Williams both of Ashdown, AR; his father Henry J. (Renita) Leeper of Okolona, AR; his siblings, his twin brother Kevin (Willette) Leeper and Michelle Furlow both of Arkadelphia and Christopher (Felecia) Furlow of Delight, AR; his bonus siblings, Donnell (Vanda) Williams, Jr., of Arkadelphia, Mercedes (Quinton) Green of Camden, AR and Janilo (Amanda) Woodley of Okolona, AR. He also leaves to cherish his memory his bonus mom and cousin Diana Leeper, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, several extended family members, Tim Leeper and the Leeper Logging and the St. Rest Baptist Church families.

A Walk-thru public visitation will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. Please note that masks are required upon entry into the facility.
