Kenneth Lamar Hendrix, Jr.

Kenneth Lamar Hendrix, Jr., was born on August 21, 1997 in Conway, Arkansas to the union of Kenneth L. Hendrix and Charlene Sullivan Hendrix.

He was a fun-loving and active child who grew up to be a studious young man. He was a member of Longley Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.He was a 2016 graduate of Bryant High School where he excelled as a student. To solidify his dreams of becoming an educator, he enrolled at University of Central Arkansas in Conway where he was studying education.

He had a wonderful personality and made friends wherever he went. He was gifted and talented; all while mastering singing, acting and cooking. In his spare-time he enjoyed listening to music and writing poetry.

Kenneth slipped from this life on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Saline Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Hendrix; his father, Kenneth L. Hendrix (Sept. 2015) and an uncle, Keith Hendrix. His charming smile and joyful spirit will be missed beyond measure.

Because love is far greater than death, his memory will live on with his mother, Charlene Hendrix; his sister, Kenesha Hendrix of Bryant, AR; his grandparents, Bobby (Earnestine) Pollins of Bryant, AR; an aunt, Gloria Hendrix of Arkadelphia, AR; two uncles, Xavier (Sarita) Hendrix of Bryant, AR and Timothy of Maumelle, AR; a bonus uncle, Cedric Banks of Atlanta, GA and a bonus aunt, Wanda Barnes of Little Rock, AR; He also leaves special cousins, Timothy Hendrix Jr., Xavier Hendrix Jr., Allyson Hendrix, Ava Reign Hendrix and Sierra Hendrix; other relatives, and numerous friends.

Public visitation will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. Services will be held graveside at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Okolona on Thursday, August 12, 2021. His uncle, Tim Hendrix will deliver the eulogy.
