Laura Mae Cook-Rabion

Sister Laura Mae Rabion passed from this life on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden, Arkansas.

Laura was born into this life on May 7, 1949 to Bennie and Margaret Cook. She accepted Christ at a tender age and was a life long member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

She was a 1967 graduate of Lincoln High School and was senior homecoming queen. Laura never met a stranger and made friends easily. She enjoyed reading the bible and listening to gospel music.

She was preceded in death bu her parents, Bennie and Margaret Cook; three sisters, Louise, Bennie and Earlene; a brother, Billy Ray Cook, Sr., and three children, Janice Meeks, Paul Rabion and Alma “Bud” Rabion.

Laura Mae leaves to cherish her memory three children: Fredrick (Frances) Rabion of Camden, AR, Sherry Rabion of Camden, AR and Richard (Tocarra) Rabion of Camden, AR; Alma Fabion, Sr., the father and former husband; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Ethel (L.S.) Harris of Rockford, IL. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and the Lincoln High School Class of 1967.

Public visitation will be Friday, February 28, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home Van Buren in Camden, Arkansas from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be at 12 noon on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Bishop Chester Thompson, pastor and Rev. Lonnell Moore, eulogist. Interment will be at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Camden, Arkansas.
