Marine Johnson was born on April 5, 1936, in Camden, Arkansas to the union of Joe and Hazel Harris Johnson.
She accepted Christ at a young age and was a lifelong member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and attended Sunday school faithfully.
Marine worked as a domestic worker for several years. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, and listening to gospel music. She later became a resident at Ouachita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she won the hearts of the administration and staff.
Marine passed from this life on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Henry Johnson and Ora Lee Neal Hampton.
She leaves fond memories with nieces, nephews, cousins, special cousins, Regina Sams and Kamika Sams; and special friends, Shameka Sams and Julia Porchia.

Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Van Buren. Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Jamal Brown, officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Deacon Jimmy Sams, Deacon Jeffery Larcks, Bro. Jordan Sams, Bro. Dondre Williams, Bro. Jessie Johnson and Bro. John Henry Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacon Herman Sams, Deacon Oree Manley, Bro. Henry Harrell, Bro. Faymond Sams, Bro. Raymond Sams and Bro. Richard Harris.
