The Legacy of Mary Lee McDaniel
This is a glimpse into the life of a dedicated and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, Godmother, friend and most importantly a child of God. We shall not mourn her passing but rejoice for a life well lived. A life filled with love, joy, happiness and empathy for her fellow man.
A Time to Be Born
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27
A precious one from us has gone; a voice we love is still. A place is vacant in our hearts; which never can be filled. On March 11, 1958 in Prescott, Arkansas– our Divine Creator blessed the lives of the late Harry & Cassie McGill with a baby girl Mary Lee McGill-McDaniel she was one of six children. She was a very gentle, respectful and humble woman. And those who truly knew and loved her would also say the same.
A Time to Live
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? John 11:25-26
Academic accomplishments for Mary Lee began in Blevins, AR.
Mary lived life to the fullest and there was never a dull moment when she was around. One of her greatest joys was spending memorable moments with family and friends, both young and old playing dominoes. She also LOVED to shop, fish & cook. Mary Lee was a very outgoing person and where ever she went she knew somebody. She worked for a Sewing Company for many years. And her favorite color was Yellow.
A Time to Serve
Mary accepted the Lord at an early age at Shorter Chapel AME; then she joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she attended until her health failed her.
A Time to Leave
On January 12, 2023 the final page of this life was written. Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the spirit they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work for their good deeds follow them.” Revelation 14:13. Mary Lee in her 64th season slipped the bonds of this life for a life in eternity. Her independent spirit, iron will, and strong character will never be duplicated, waiting on the other side is her parents: Harry & Cassie McGill; sister: Pheobie Post; brother: William S. McGill; nephew: Neal McGill; niece: Tara Post.
