The Life and Times ofMary T. (Mammie Sue Stulgate) Wheeler was born May 3, 1940, daughter of Jezeree Gordon and Ephriam Wheeler in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.She grew up in Arkadelphia and graduated from Peake High School and attended Tate Temple Church Of God in Christ. In her adulthood, she moved to Markham, Illinois where she met and married Johnny Stulgate, raised their four boys and worked as a receptionist at Cook County Hospital at Oak Forest, Illinois for over 25 years.She continued her relationship with the Lord becoming a member of the Church of God In Christ in Markham, Illinois.She loved to dress up, look beautiful and enjoy life. She departed this life on Friday, December 13, 2019, in Markham, Illinois. She was preceded in her passing by her husband, Johnny Stulgate, her parents, Ephriam Wheeler, Sr. and Jezeree Gordon Buckley, her sister, Minnie Jean Wheeler and brothers, Ephriam Wheeler, Jr. and Danny Wheeler.She leaves her wonderful memories with her sons, Jeffery (Phyllis Badmus) Stulgate, Kelvin (Anita) Stulgate, Anthony Stulgate, and Adrian Stulgate; her siblings, Barbara Carter, Joyce Johnson, James Buckley, Mary Ann (Bennie) Carradine, Larry Buckley, Guyronne Buckley, Nancy (Ronnie) Hall, Patricia Walker, Letri (James) Bradford, Bonnie (Timothy) Jones, Henry Clay (Bertha) Wheeler, Carrie Wheeler, and Shirlee (Stephen) Hayes; thirty-five grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.A Celebration of her Life will be shared at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Greater Pleasant Baptist Church, Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd, Jr., is the pastor
