Nadine Dansby Goshen was born on February 18, 1964, in Whelen Springs, Arkansas to Jacob Dansby and Loretta Keys Jackson.
She was a 1982 graduate of North Division High School. Nadine was a member of Eastern Star Baptist Church in Smithton, Arkansas.
Her hobbies included fishing, cooking, singing and shopping. She enjoyed listening to music by Bruno Mars. She possessed a friendly spirit and loved the color purple.
Family, as well as friends, will miss her strength, smile and love, but will never forget her spirit and compassion. She passed into the Lord’s embrace Thursday, December 17, 2020 at National Park Hospital. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sabrina Denise Stephens (April 21, 1981 - January 06, 2016); her siblings, James, Joe, Leon, Leartis and Davis Dansby; Vera Wilkins, Ranae Dansby, Mary L. Williams and Louella Bullock.
She leaves her husband, Donald Ray Goshen of Arkadelphia, AR; siblings Doretha Howard (Tommy) of Whelen Springs, AR, Ricky Bowie and a special sister-in-law, Regina of Pearls, MS; Jearlene Norwood of San Diego, CA, Emma Scott of San Diego, CA, Alfreda Dansby of Hope, AR and Ruth Ella Chares of Prescott, AR; nieces and nephews, Latoya Oliver, her caregiver, Alcia Jemison, Alexis Jemison, III, Alvin Jemison, Tyrone Curlee, Martin Curlee, Anthony Wells, Ricky Bowie, Jr., and Antonia Bowie; her immediate great-nieces and great-nephews, Danatio Lewis, J., Danaye Lewis, Alvin Jemison, IV, Navi Mahan, Sai McDill and Amor’ McDill, as well as, a host of cousins and numerous friends.
Public visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home, 1626 Logan Street. There will be no services.
