Raymon Lee Caldwell was born on May 8, 1950 in Dumas, Arkansas. He was the sons of Eddie Bohlar and Daisy Caldwell.
He attended Langston High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Raymon was a truck driver and a talented artist. The last past three years of his life he journaled everyday. Raymon was a unique character; to know him was to love him. He loved the life he lived and lived the live he loved.
Raymon was a simple man, who enjoyed the simpler things that life offered. He loved reggae and gospel music. He was a die-hard Razorback basketball fan and Dallas Cowboys football fan.
Raymon spent many days at the Watershed where he made many acquaintances. In his 68th season of life he slipped from this world on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Hospice Homecare in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was preceded in his transition by his parents, Eddie Lee Bohlar and Daisy Mae Johnson; brothers, Johnny Jordan and Tommy Johnson, Jr.; two sisters, Dorothy Banks and Laura Johnson; and a great-granddaughter, Azaria Williams.
He leaves behind a daughter, Chalette M. Burns of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren, Bre’Asia Burns of Valdosta, GA and Bre’India Williams of Fort Valley, GA; sisters, Melody (Corie) Penny of Cumming, GA and Carolyn (Harrison) Matthews of Monticello, AR; and a brother, Tito (Erica) Thomas of Chicago, IL; a special nephew and caregiver, Johnny “Trey” (Vanessa) Banks of Alexander, AR; an uncle, Jessie (Lenor) Bohlar; aunts, Areatha (John) Marshall and Bobbie Bohlar. He also leaves other nieces, nephews, cousins and acquaintances.
