Ruth Ella Charles

Ruth Ella Dansby-Charles better known as "Moot". A beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friends when needed to many when needed.

Ruth Ella worked for Beirne Lumber Company in Beirne, Arkansas later becoming a homemaker. She has a true passion for outdoors with hobbies in both hunting and fishing, but mostly fishing. She would spend countless hours watching "Swamp People" on the Discovery Channel. 

She departed this life Monday morning, November 4, 2024 at NEA Baptist Health Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas one hour away from Marion, Arkansas where she resided with one of her daughters, Melissa Charles-Flowers.

Ruth Ella Dansby-Charles was born one of twelve children to Jaco Dansby and Mazie Marks Dansby in Rosston, Arkansas on December 4, 1944. She was preceded in death by her parents, he husband, Linzie Earl Charles; her brothers, Leon, Leartis, Joe and James; her sisters, Mary Louise, Emma, Vera, and Lou Ella; her children, Michael, Carlen and Gregory Charles.

Ruth Ella Dansby married Linzie Earl Charles in 1965, to their union six children were born. Prior to this union she had her first daughter, Lisa Woodberry (Ricky) of Blevins, AR. Through union was born Melissa Charles-Flowers (Quentin) of Marion, AR, Tracy Jackson of Prescott, AR and May Bell Charles of Hope, AR. She leaves to cherish her memories two sisters, Jerelene Norwood of San Diego, Ca and Alfreda Charles of Hope, AR. A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and friends.
